An Update on Life

Journal Entry: Sat May 18, 2013, 1:11 PM

Finals are just around the corner, and I'm pulling into the last hard bit of Junior year. I'll be taking my SAT on June 1, and getting out of school on the sixth. Oh, man. I can't believe I have one year until college. I'm getting my priorities straight on which schools I want to visit and which ones I'll apply to.

Also, I'm working on a veggie garden with my mom and dad, and that's going to yield us some tasty fruit and vegetable later on this year. We've already had a few artichoke dinners, and they were way better than anything that can be bought at the grocery store. The potted strawberries are ripe right now, and so are the loquats on our tree. We're completely overwhelmed with lemons from our two trees, too, and need to give some of the fruit away.

Finally, with Father's Day coming up, I'm painting an 11 x 14 inch watercolor to give to my day.

So much going on!
